Available at the PwC Academy, the practical tax training program covers both the skills and technical knowledge required to oversee VAT.

Working in close collaboration with Tolley, a provider of practical tax training, the PwC Academy now offers an internationally recognised VAT qualification.

Available in both the UAE and Saudi Arabia from the start of October 2017, the VAT Diploma will cover everything from the skills needed to process VAT, as well as the technical knowledge to the oversee the related IT systems.

Commenting on the diploma, Jeanine Daou, PwC Partner, Middle East indirect Tax Leader shared: “We provide a complete solution to help organisations get ready for the new VAT regime; from assessing impact and designing VAT solutions to implementing and operating them. “A key element of getting businesses ready for this transition is upskilling their staff with the relevant skills and knowledge to implement this change.”

Accredited the Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT), the framework of PwC’s VAT Diploma covers the principles of VAT, as well as the practical application of the legislation. Taught by professionals from the education business of PwC, the program is taught in a modular format as to better accommodate the demanding schedule of working professionals.
