Sara is an HR Business Partner at Emirates Airlines. She pursued the CIPD qualification in Human Resources management in 2019 and is now an Associate CIPD. Sara is passionate about developing people and is a strong advocate of lifelong learning.

So what motivated you to pursue CIPD?

Our businesses are evolving and the CIPD qualification was the right choice for acquiring new skills to tackle the future demands.

I pursued the CIPD qualification so that I can become more business savvy and come up with business solutions, which can help me navigate my organisation through these uncertain times.

Some advice for fellow women: 'Learning has no end to it and can be the best gift to invest in yourself.'Nora Khalid Al Muhairi – ACCA

Nora worked as an internal & external auditor at PwC Middle East for 5 years. She is currently studying ACCA at PwC's Academy. She is passionate about numbers and the stories behind them, and loves a challenge, whether in professional or personal life.

What motivated you to pursue a qualification?

Development is important to me and should be important to anyone else who is interested in upskilling. It is a core competency in these changing times.

I pursued the ACCA qualification because I wanted to take on a challenge and expand my horizon. This qualification helped me in understanding internal and external audit dynamics and has opened up new doors for me as an experienced auditor.

Some advice for fellow women: 'Start studying for a qualification as soon as possible because it’s a great investment to make.' Khadija Doowi - CFA

Khadija is a Senior Accountant with over four years of experience in finance. She is currently studying CFA at PwC's Academy. Khadija is passionate about learning and is a firm believer that knowledge can help one surpass any challenge.

So what motivated you to pursue the CFA qualification?

My motivation to pursue the CFA qualification was to gain all the knowledge required to become a trustworthy finance analyst. This not only helped me achieve my goals but also helped me excel at them and be more efficient and innovative.

This course is helping me increase my understanding of the fundamentals of finance and applying them to my day to day activities and has also strengthened my role within the organisation.

Some advice for fellow women: 'There is possible in the word impossible, believe in yourself and you will be surprised.'
