Hassan Abdullah

Hassan is a finance trainer at PwC’s Academy and has an experience of over 5 years. He is an expert in Asset Management, Investment Management, Research, Audit & Assurance.

Hassan has expertise in identifying, selecting and modifying instructional resources to meet students’ needs with varying backgrounds, learning styles and special needs. He has provided continuous feedback on students’ progress through a variety of assessment tools, including tests, projects, assignments and other evaluation instruments.
Hisham Jiffry

Hisham is a senior trainer with 19+ years of experience, specialising in accounting, finance and management subjects.

Hisham is a strong advocate of the advantage of a sound and disciplined financial framework for business professionals running complex and diverse business entities from SME’s to MNC’s.

Hisham’s expertise includes ACCA and CMA programmes and other professional qualifications.
Huzefa Hydrie

Huzefa is a manager and trainer with 9+ years experience in accounting and finance. He delivers courses relating to ACCA, ASC, CIMA and CMA qualifications.

Huzefa consistently achieves exceptional pass rates due to his ability to deliver complex technical topics in an easy manner, coupled with accelerated learning methodologies and exam strategies. His ‘can-do’ attitude, his strong teamwork and collaborative skills make him an accomplished trainer.
Huzefa previously worked as a corporate trainer in Qatar alongside managing the budgetary and finance function of the organisation. He also delivers in-house professional qualifications training to public and private sector clients.
John Macdonald

John is a senior HR consultant, executive coach, and trainer with 30+ years of experience in the UK and the USA, including 22 years in the Gulf Region.

John is an expert in training and development of HR professionals, reward, strategic HR consulting and executive coaching. He provides support for businesses across a wide spectrum of strategic human resource management, reward management, leadership development and executive coaching.

John is a former senior executive in HR management and has led multicultural HR teams over the past two decades. He is a qualified executive coach and designs and runs ILM-accredited courses in coaching and mentoring.
Maaz Barakat

Maaz is a finance and accounting trainer with 30+ years of industry and training experience.

Maaz has served in key positions in the professional services sector as well as the World Gold Council. He is an internationally accredited trainer specialising in professional qualifications in finance and accounting fields.

Maaz’s training career involves working with renowned universities including the American University of Beirut, American University in Dubai and many other leading training institutes in the region. He also serves as a speaker at various international conferences, workshops and seminars in the Middle East.
Malek Al-Zewairi

Malek is our Digital Training Senior Manager at PwC’s Academy Middle East. He has over ten years of experience in information security, digital forensics, incident response and ethical hacking. During his career, he worked in several fields of information security, including security operation, auditing, training, consultation and academia.

Mariam El Ghandour

Mariam has hands-on experience in organisation development and structure, policies and procedures development, recruitment and selection, HR budgeting and planning, HR administration, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and employment contracts.

Mariam is an experienced HR consultant, facilitator, assessor and trainer at PwC’s Academy with over 18 years of experience in HR and learning and development management across a diverse range of companies and sectors in the Middle East. Mariam has helped businesses develop, optimise performance and acquire optimum talents. She combines knowledge, expertise and passion for working with people and for recognising skills to employ for the most efficient outcomes. Throughout her career Mariam has delivered training programmes to over 12,000 students and delegates from various organisations.
Michael ElFarly

Michael is the country senior partner at PwC Jordan, with 25+ years of experience in extensive management, financial audit and risk assurance.

Michael leads the Assurance Practice for Jordan and Iraq, and the Assurance Transformation in the Middle East. He has experience in assurance and business advisory services, including corporate and family governance, risk management, internal audit and technology risk services.

Michael has previously served at large multinational clients. His portfolio includes a variety of industries such as banks, government, non-profit and international donor organisations, mining and manufacturing.
Michel Maamary

Michael is an experienced tax consultant and trainer at PwC’s Academy with an extensive practice in preparing tax returns including VAT for clients.

Michel has over 32 years of professional experience in the field of audit, accounting, finance and tax industries including his work with the Big Four audit and consulting firms. He has gathered over 17 years of experience in the training industry.
Mohamed Mossilhy

Mohamed has extensive experience in human resources and has held multiple learning and development management roles with big players in MENA and GCC.

Mohamed is a learning and development professional trainer at PwC’s Academy. He has over 13 years’ of experience and holds certificates and accolades from multiple awarding bodies, including CIPD, ATD, MBTI, and British Council. He has remarkable history of producing accurate and timely results for multiple clients in building learning and development strategies and managing large training budgets. His result focused style and consultative leadership approach allows him to identify key gaps for learning and set plans accordingly.
Mostafa Hussein

Mostafa is a professional qualifications trainer at PwC’s Academy and specialises in Financial accounting, Cost and Management Accounting, Financial statement analysis, derivatives, and assets valuation.

Mostafa specialises in delivering professional courses to candidates with little or no accounting and finance background through simplifying an otherwise complex subject and delivering it in a logical and smooth manner.
Mostafa is experienced in creating online educational content and has created many accounting and finance courses for free on YouTube and has over 80,000 students over the Middle East subscribed to his courses.
Naji El Kotob

Naji is a Power BI expert implementer and consultant with 15+ years of experience as an official trainer.

Naji is passionate about everything related to data and a specialist in business intelligence solutions. He is known for his remarkable capability in designing and delivering interactive tailor-made courses with real-world cases.

Naji has successfully delivered 5,000+ training hours to diverse clients from various sectors, including but not limited to, construction, education, entertainment, NGO, financial services, healthcare, telecom, retail and public sector.
