Paul A Gulston

Paul has been involved with the CIPS body since 1998 as a student where he began his MCIPS journey. He began his CIPS tutorship career in 2006, conducting training at various levels of the programme on a part time basis. Since then, he continues to educate learners globally in the CIPS programme and MBA modules that a focused on supply chain and operations content. Paul is also a founding member of CIPS Americas and the Caribbean, a body aimed at serving procurement professionals within this hemisphere. He has has also been a supply chain lecturer at a regional  university college for 6 years where he conducted MBA courses with procurement and supply specialism.  Paul has enjoyed over 15 years of industry experience which he often blends with theoretical  concepts.

Paul is a faculty member at AcademyGlobal who has over 20 years’ experience as a supply chain practitioner. He began his career in the health sector and transitioned into aviation, construction and the power generation industry, where he supported procurement efforts at a strategic and operational level. Described as a highly energetic and engaging educator with a unique passion for education and supply chain management, he’s able to blend real world experiences with supply chain theories and best practice. This approach allows students and professionals to learn by ‘doing’ through real life case examples, taken from his own experiences.
