Halil Erdem
Halil specialises in the development and delivery of customised tax programmes, with an emphasis on VAT implementation in the GCC region and Advanced Diploma in International Taxation (ADIT).
Halil is currently the Head of Tax for Careem and have previously worked in consultancy, advisory and training roles in PwC Netherlands and PwC Middle East for multinational clients. He has guided clients during VAT audits performed by Tax Authorities, delivered VAT training programmes and assisted companies with tax registrations and compliance in Europe and the Middle East.Halil is also a published author and a known favourite in the classroom.
Halil is a senior tax subject matter expert with 10+ years of experience in tax consultancy, implementation and tax training. He brings eight years of consultancy experience to his role as a subject matter expert and as a tax lecturer.
