Get ready for VAT in Oman

Since 1 January 2018, VAT has been implemented in the United Arab Emirates and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia followed by Kingdom of Bahrain in 2019. The Sultanate of Oman is the 4th country in the GCC region to introduce the VAT regime.

Each GCC country has a certain flexibility to tailor their VAT laws based on the national requirements, including Oman, where there are certain legislative provisions which are exclusively applicable to the country. Organisations and practising professionals within Oman need to ensure that they have a clear and detailed understanding of the VAT legislative requirements and its application in Oman, to ensure successful compliance.

We are pleased to introduce the Oman VAT Compliance Diploma to help participants prepare for VAT in Oman. This is offered in exclusive partnership with Tolley, the leading provider worldwide of practical tax training.
